Disinfest People and Pets

To remove fleas from people:

1. Bathe the person twice a day with soap and water. Insecticidal shampoos are available but are not necessary - regular soap kills fleas just as well.
2. After each bath, use a special flea comb (Available at most pet stores and pharmacies) to remove any remaining fleas from their hair.

To remove fleas from pets:

1. Bathe the animal with soap and water. Insecticidal shampoos are available but are not necessary - be very careful when selecting one if you choose to go this route, they contain poisons that can easily harm your pet just as quickly as they can harm the fleas.
2. After the bath, comb out all of your animals hair with a special flea comb (Available at most pharmacies and pet stores) to remove any remaining fleas and eggs.
3. Comb your pet once or twice daily, re-bathing again if neccesary.
